Iphone Tips: How to use Iphone ON 3G network only

HOW TO USE ONLY ON THE NETWORK 3G iPhone;
If you’re surfing the internet with iPhone could happen that our connection goes from 3G to EDGE automatically while there UMTS signal that allows browsing faster. Here’s a quick guide, fit only for dospositivi Jailbreak, allowing you to stay connected to the 3G network without opening the EDGE network.
As the 3G network is not available anywhere, and that changes from one operator to another, we recommend you do this guide in your area unless you have a 3G connection in order to avoid remaining with no active network.
Now to the proceedings:
Colleghiamoci SSH in the directory “var / preferences”
csdata search for the file and let us save on our desktop once saved apriamolo with Notepad or any text editor.
We find the string: “GsmRegistrationModel: fRatSelection = 0 × 1″ and SOSTITUIAMOLA with this other string: “GsmRegistrationModel: fRatSelection = 0 × 2″
Save the new file and sovrascriviamolo always connected to the same location in SSH
Restart the iPhone.
Of course, the procedure does not work for iPhone 2G since it does not mount the chip 3G.
