----HTC desire released in Japan Market Via SoftBank
Already available in the UK, the HTC Desire which has just been announced by Softbank, The third largest mobile Japan.
The phone will be available to customers in Japan since late April, as “SoftBank HTC X06HT Desire” – and seems to be the first Android Smartphone 2.1 released in Japan (where the Xperia X10 will also be available, but this time, as you know runs Android 1.6).
The HTC Desire does not seem to be different from the European version, with a 3.7 inch AMOLED WVGA touch screen, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1GHz Snapdragon, 3.5mm headphone jack, 5MP camera with autofocus D1 (720 x 480 pixels) video recording and compatibility with MicroSD cards.
